Oakfern, In the caves under River Swan

As stoet walked around the Oakfern caves, he often saw many fawnling learning or practicing magic. He knew that he had the ability of wondrous water powers, but he did not know how to harness it. Stoet asked many of the fawnlings around if they would be willing to teach him. With not much of a response, he decided to try to teach himself.

Stoet walked back to his cave area. He knew that just a few tunnels over, where was an underground waterfall. This is where many of the young ones, including his own, will learn water magic. He staggered over and noticed no one was there. The magnificent nearly clear water stream that emptied down under the ground into the tunnels gleamed with the glow of the surrounding glowing fungi and mosses. Stoet had no idea how to make the water produce magic. So he took a stance, Planted all 4 feet evenly , arched his neck , puffed out his chest and lunged forward to move the water without touching it. It did not work. He tried again, and again, and again. Nothing. Then he noticed something a little peculiar, when he would move, the little spray molecules would shift with him. He moved left, some particles moved to the left. He moved to the right, the molecules moved to the right. He turned around and thought to himself, Follow. And some of the droplets did. He Swished his tail into the space the molecules were floating  and then when his tail went back down to the ground, the droplets gathered into one large droplet. It was very hard for Stoet to hold the droplet up. After a few seconds, the droplet fell to the hard rocky floor. He walked over and examined the splatter. He lifted his head and a majority of the droplet lifted off the floor and gathered again.

Next, Stoet directed the droplet back into the waterfall. Then as he watched the waterfall for many moments, he decided to try to re direct it again. He took the position of standing strong, arched his neck, puffed his chest, and forced forward. Nothing happened again. He tried one more time, getting discouraged. As he lurched forward this him he envisioned the water separating from the middle and flowing to the sides. Almost like a curtain. When he opened his eyes, It happened. The water redirected around where he was standing. But by doing this, the cave began to slightly flood. This end of the cave was lower than a majority of the nearby areas. Stoet didn't know what to do. The water slowly reached his knees. He Lurches back and envisioned the water coming back together. When he opened his eyes, it did. But there was still flooding at the cave floor. Stoet calmly made the water reach up and moved it back into the waterfall. When he turned around, he saw a little shadow watching him from the edge of the smaller tunnel.
